4 stud (Ford fitment) alloy wheels

Hi all..

have been looking and looking for a set of 16" x 8" alloys, but can't find anything I like - and I'll be needing some soon - so I thought I'd ask if anyone has any lying around taking up space... could at least use them until I can make a decision!

Chris

(PS yes I definitely want 16" - despite knowing all the arguments against!)

Got a set of five Ford seven spokes, fitted with 195 x 60 x 14's. Tyres have done 800 miles, still like new. Includes set of 60deg nuts to suit. £150 if your interested. Cheers, Ray

Hi Chris,

Thats the Dax wheel question then

The only OE 8"x16" I know of thet fit the bill are the ones fitted to (real) Escort Cosworth 4x4's (strangely the same size wheel and tyres as Dax recoment for the Quadra )

Other than that there are compomotive MO's and they can come with 0 offset - also in 7"x16" and 7.5"x16" for the fronts:

http://www.compomotive.com/

And some of the Borbet wheels have the right sizes too:

http://www.borbet.co.uk/
http://www.borbet.de/index-lgb.php3?uid=&ukey=&site_lg=lgb

Other than that there is the 7"/9"x17" team dynamics pro race 1.2 (the one in the group buy) or 3 piece

thats all I've found so far - but then I've only really been looking for 5 spoke designs

I have a set of 16 x 8" rims going spare AND FREE

Trouble is you will need to glue on an extra Stud, cos they are off my Land Rover

Hi Ray,

They sound good - but I think I need slightly bigger to get the bodywork set up properly... I wish there wasn't so much choice then I might have made a decision by now!
