Convolute tubing

of the split kind. Anyone know where there is an outlet I can go and buy it in the North East this weekend?

RS do it but I dont need 900m reels of the stuff, just around 6m to cover the wiring I'm putting together.

Its holding my build up slightly and I can't be bothered to wait for it by mail order.

try your local electrical factors, Medlock, City Electrical etc, they usually have the non slitted variety, but it's quite easy to slit yourself witha knife.

I used some Ikea stuff - not bad at all. Managed to get some in silver to match the silver chassis.

For the rest i used non-split type from Mac#1 bought by the meter.

Cut some caravan waste pipe down the side and use that.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Get down to a breakers yard. Find a newish Renault Clio and it'll have all you require. Including the plastic junctions and Tee pieces. It'll wash up like new in a bucket of soapy water. several car manufacturers use it heavily, so theres plenty to choose from. I picked up 2 carrier bags full of the stuff plus 30 junction pieces for £5

"just like that !"
