M22 x 1.5 stainless cap

As subject.

I need an M22 x 1.5 blanking cap to go on an EGR connection on my manifold.
Mild steel I guess would be OK, stainless preferred.

I've searched and can't find anywhere

It needs to be a female to go onto a pipe. Some V8's have then as core plugs but not caps

Sources appreciated, can anybody make one up perhaps?

ta

Like the picture below, but with a M22 x 1.5 thread on the inside, some nice hex flats on the outside, and in stainless.

So nothing like the picture below, but to go on the outside end of a pipe.

Can you not use a short length of rubber hose, jubilee clip it over the male threaded EGR outlet. Then plug then other end with a cut down M22 set screw secured with another jubilee clip

Not the most elegant of solutions I know, but practical and cheap with readily available parts.

This pipe is about 70mm from the exhaust port and about 50mm from the head. It'll be getting a tad warm!

I should just get it welded up but I hoped a cap would be easy to find.
