Don't be vague.

Where are you how far do you want to travel ? Fill your profile location in, just the county/country will help and how much work do you want to do. Is welding, time or finding parts your problem. What power are you going to use etc.? How much do you consider cheap? You can still buy book chassis starter kits from suppliers for reasonable money if you look around.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Project

Nearly finished Luego Locost for sale

Luego Locost 13.00cc xflow engine (professionally rebuilt)
Factory built and almost complete, as featured in practical performance magazine build car feature.
This car really is a gorgeous looking car, and has been professionally built by Luego in 2005.
Due to work commitments and other hobbies I now don't have the time to finish it.
It is probably the highest spec locost you are likely to see and is so close to being on the road, I would estimate a good couple of weekends would see it ready for SVA.
So if your looking to build and get one on the road for this summer, this is the project for you.
All you will really need to add to what is supplied is a prop shaft, seats and runners & harnesses & fuel tank.
Just to give you an idea of what a bargain your getting a comprehensive kit from Luego would cost £3995+Vat, that's without wheels and shiny accesories and carbon fibre bits and obviously alot of labour has gone into the build
Grey GRP
carbon fibre front and rear wings, red piping around rear arches and dash.
Chrome front top and bottom wishbones, carbon fibre dash Etb instruments white with red needles.
Polished Stainless grille
Mirror side panels and stoneguards
Black powdercoated chassis, panard rod and trailing arms
Live axle (painted) with rear disc conversion
Chrome roll bar
Carbon effect mirrors
Full set of lights
Wiring 99% done
Red Vynnl to do the interior
floor mounted pedal box with bias bar & master cylinders
Steering rack mk2 escort
Cortina front uprights (new bearings)
Carpet
red vynnl handbrake and gear gater
Stainless parcel shelf (needs finishing but is started)
Full set of superlite wheels and yokohama tyres
Full polished stainless steel balanced exhaust system
Email for pics or look in the Luego section, for the nearly finished Luego Locost it's on page 3 at the moment, or look at my photo archive and you'll see her in all her beauty.
