Hose clips
Available in all good scrap yards for free. Just fill your pockets
Could also dismantle your washing machine, loads in there.
Prefer jubilee clips myself. Those are perfectly good most of the time though.

Bloody hate them. They soon get replaced with jubilees.

I quite like them, they look neat and as long as you pick the right size for the job they hold everything really well.
Still don't know what they are called though
Cheers,
Raz

Trade? name for these is grenade clips - obvious why when you see them on the production line - push hose on & pull release tang (small yellow
retainer that holds the clip open), great for assembly, ok for working on if you've got a pair of hose pliers and can be an absolute sod if you
haven't!. Some say they keep a more consistent pressure on the hose.

A decent quality, hex head worm drive type clip can be done up and removed easily from relatively inaccessible areas using a flexible drive.
These bloody things require special pliers which are quite bulky and hard to get into small spaces. This is compounded by having to squeeze the
pliers closed whilst you are moving the clip along a pipe. Not impossible but can be very awkward. And there's always the temptation to use
normal pair of pliers if they are handy...blood blisters await...
