Ok, I know it's a bit pikey to register and use my first post to advertise stuff, but bear with me, you'll like this one. And yes, I do ramble a bit.

I have a rather good (as in, not rusty, T&T'd until recently) Mk1 Sierra, complete with all the best bits for Locosting: Weber'd 2.0L 205 block, 5-speed box, vented front discs, manual steering and so on. Runs nicely too, though the concept of age-hardened 165R13s on damp roundabouts scares me a little.

Now, here's my problem. Today, I come home from work to discover that not only has someone stoved in the window on one of my other cars and had it away with some stereo bits, they also decided to smash up the windscreen on the Sierra, just for the hell of it. So, car that was broken into needs fixing, and Sierra no longer a five-minute MOT job thanks to cost/hassle of new screen.

I'd rather it went to someone who'd actually make good use of the bits, as it is in rather good nick other than the aforementioned screen. The only other hassle with it is that the clutch pedal has committed suicide (missing quadrant teeth & sheared bracketry), but as Sod's law dictates, I'd already ordered a replacement set of pedals the day before the screen made friends with Mr Half-Brick. They're in the post to me anyhow, so whoever wants the car can have them too.

What's it worth? £120 anyone? I'm in Leicester, about two minutes from the M1/M69 junction.
