bellhousing needed...desperately!
Hi,
I'm in desperate need of a bell housing as it is stopping me progressing on my build.
If anyone has one and is willing to post I will be happy to make an offer.
It's to go between my type 9 box and xflow.
Thanks very much,
Theo

You'd be better off getting one from a local scrappy - shipping costs would be immense, as the standard bellhousing is cast iron and very, very
heavy.
Should be easy to find, as the gearbox itself doesn't have to be a runner. You might have some dirt to remove, but it shouldn't be too
rusty; oily cast iron doesn't rust in the same way as steel.

Anything attached to a Xflow engine is guaranteed not to be rusty

i've got one - but i really don't want the hassle of posting (and it does weigh a tonne)
Could we organise a shipping chain?
Anyone going down the M6 somewhere soon who could take it some of the way? I work 30 seconds from j2 and live 10 minutes away so could easily meet
someone.

There's a good reason why I've got a drip tray under my car...
