Courier - County Durham to Southampton

Anyone know of a cheap way to get a chassis and engine from Stockton Upon Tees to Southampton? I have a courier quote of £199. Ouch

If time is not entirely of the essence and you don't mind it stopping off at Leeds for a bit on the way down try Dave at JSD services - main business is transporting and storing classic cars but they do part loads for things like this, do a web search or consult small ads in classic car/ practical classics mags
good luck

Contact any local transport company. A chassis on it's end only covers the same space as a pallet which can be moved for £30-40 nationwide.
