That "looks" like an XR2 thermostat housing, you tried one of those ?

Kris, I went to my local scrappy in Peterlee this morning....

Hundreds of cars, full of Ford's. You live next to a Ford dismanterler??

I was looking for EDIS parts and there was loads, everything you need.

Spent 2 hours going round collecting bits and pieces and a tow bar for me Rover. I'm sure you could find one there, OR check the Burton catalogue as I know you love spending lots of cash on your car!!

Seriously, I've got a mechanical gauge that doesn't need a sensor and is quite cheap.
