Thick-wall aluminium tube

Anyone know if/where I can get some thick-wall aluminium tube, 44mm o.d. x 3mm or 4mm wall thickness? I can only find very thin-walled stuff.

I am trying to check the availability of materials before I decide on the design of a bike carb manifold. If I can't get what I want then I'll probably have to make it out of steel. Aluminium would be nice though...

cheers,
David

Good suggestion! I'll give them a call on Monday. It looks like they stock 1.75" x 10SWG ali tube, which would be ideal.

Are they approachable for smallish bits? I'll be after 2 metres max, plus a bit of sheet for the backing plate.

Adam, thanks for the offer but that'll be too big - I don't want to make too much work for myself!

The 1.75" tube I'm after should be a nice snug fit into the rubber coupling sleeves.
