Wanted: stainless exhaust bits...
I have just bought a nice R1 carbon can off ebay, which will look lovely once I have adapted it to fit on my existing exhaust pipe which is 2"
o/d.
The inlet to the can is 59/60mm o/d, 57mm i/d, so what I am after is a stepped adapter/reducer with 57mm o/d on the big end, going down to 2"
(50.8mm) i/d at the narrower end, ideally with the swaging/slits to make it easier to clamp up. All of this over about a 6" length, in stainless
steel.
Alternative would be a piece of regular 2" stainless with the swaging at one end, then open up the end of the can and see if the pipe could be
welded to a disc and then onto whatever is inside!
Bob has offered to look at the autojumble at Kempton this weekend, but has anyone got any other ideas and/or spare bits of stainless that might be
suitable?
Cheers,
Simon

Simon.
We've bought bits from here to make our exhaust system. I don't know whether any of it is useful to you.
