Cortina Front Hub Torque Setting

Hi Guys

Does anybody have the correct torque setting for the front hub nut?

27lb-ft, then back off 90deg

I am fairly sure it says something along the lines of checking the hub play and tighten accordingly. Certainly my hubs feel good and sturdy, and the torque required was about in the region FlakMonkey quoted.

Yeah you do it by feel at the same time lining up the castle nut and stub axle hole for the best compromise between slack and tight.

Do it up tight and back off a flat or 2 of the nut.
