Wanted - Shortened Sierra QUICKRACK

Hi All,

Due to a misunderstanding when ordering my kit, I ended up with a standard ratio (shortened obviously) sierra steering rack, but I desperately need to change it for a Quickrack!

So if anyone out there has one or knows of one for sale somewhere, then please let me know!!!

Cheers,
Steve

I'd have one of these too. Does anyone do them ready shortened?

can't you send it back to the manufacturer for a swap?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Try MNR, I got one with my kit and I'm sure they will sell you one.

Yes... Along with £110 for what I thought that I'd already paid for!!!

In fairness they went through their receipts and said that I hadn't paid for it, so I'm not having a go at them, it's just that I said so many times that I wanted one and was positive that I'd paid for it, and by the time I realised that I had received the wrong rack, and then convinced them it was actually the wrong rack, I was skint!!!

Cheers Coozer - I will do!
I asked on here first, because I'm not exactly rolling in it at the moment, with a housemove early next year and a wedding to pay for in August!!!

Do it yourself you've already got the outer shortened with your standard rack.
Just cut the internels down of a new sierra quick rack and swap it all comes off one end then re tap it believe its m10.
Thats all i did but the other way round wanted a standerd rack

I assume that you have already sold your quickrack internals, so do you know where I can get the internals from for a good price?

I'm happy to do it myself!

Yes sold the hole rack. As to a good price know idea, but got to be able to find a rack cheaper than MK or MNR as they will charge for shortening it I would of through

Rally design told me at Exeter that they are having a batch of standard size sierra quick racks made up sometime in the next three months. They said keep watching the website for news.
