Halogen light glass
The glass on these units are, toughend glass.
I found that out when I got mine with a bit of weld splatter.
I normally go to B&Q or the likes and buy one of thier cheapo lights for the glass £4-£5.
Or you could just fit the B&Q light as is onto your stand.

Screwfix do one for £4.99 that's 500watt.
Just had one delivered that seems pretty good although the lead is a bit short.
Cheers,

i'f rather buy the glas for99p then fork out a small fortune on a complete unit - I suspect that this is what I will need to do.
also rckon getting a glass cut would prove to be more expensive than a new lamp.

If you are that tight then just use it without glass.
DO NOT PUT ON KNOB OR BOLLOCKS!

Exactly what i done at first.
Soon got pi55ed of paying £1.99, every other week for a new bulb.
You can't cut toughend glass. (unless you want it in kit form)
The glass is first cut then placed into a oven/kiln to be toughend.

Something at the back of my mind says the glass cuts down UV from the bulb. Also. the bulbs are known to explode with glass flying everywhere. I
wouldn't risk running without glass.
