wanted: sausage filter + backplate (07 zx10r)

as above, anyone have one or know where to get one from? dont mind a blank backing plate and making the whole in it.

which sausage filter?

itg, pipercross, tts?

think i got my itg one from merlin. about the cheapest around. (£128 being the cheapest at the time JC40/65)

Demon Thieves do a Pipercross blank backplate (C5005) £28 +vat, Filter 65, 90 or 125 deep (C50) at £65.25+vat.

I agree with Steve run an airbox with a cold air feed from the nosecone area, will be quieter and probably perform better, with a similar cost

I have a Pipercross filter you can have for £30, but no backplate.

how did you attach the box to the tbs? i do have the original airbox so coul adapt that but i think something may be missing as there is nothing to keep it opn the tbs, there is a 2mm ish lip and thats about it

do you still have the piece of black plastic in this picture on Rich's car?
I used this as I thought it was the best way for Paul's but at the same time it would be relatively simple to just make the base of the airbox fit the tbs easily...
Oh and do you still have the rubbers on the tbs???

yeah i still have the part (bottom of the airbox that has the pipes on it?) and i have the rubbers and clamps on the tbs but cant get it to grip it.

will give you a call when im out it the garage after work (6ish?) if thats cool.
