Video Recording equipment

Guys

I am after a sturdy video recording device with bullet camera and mic, ideally it will also have some way of remote starting so that I can wire it to a record start and stop button on my dash. I need it for this, http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=83404 so I can record the racing!

Obviously it needs to be rugged (shock and weather proof) and ideally I would like a second hand unit which someone has upgraded from. I have pretty limited funds right now as this racing business is not cheap so I would prefer some locost ideas

Appreciate you inputs!
