Ford Sierra or Granada fuel tank sender hole
As per the title really, when I stripped out the Granada I thought I would not need the tank so I chucked it (yep MISTAKE). Any way I need the top bit
of of either a Sierra or Granada Fuel tank, the bit with the hole in for the fuel guage sender unit plus about 3 inches all around it.
So if any one still has the tank they don't want OR is stripping a car in my area, can you help?
I thought I would ask on here before trawling round the breakers yards.
Cheers

Made one myself last week.. For a 1.5mm thick ali tank, made the bayonet type fitting by measuring the sender accurately and filing accurately!. The
dimensions need to be good maybe to about 0.2mm tolerance, but you can do this by hand. I replaced the sealing washer with 2 nitrial o-rings as the
original was two thick.. If you need a photo ask (will take a couple of days).

Yes cheers mate, making it was/is the other option, its just that I'll take the lazy/easy route if I can. I have the sender unit to use as a
pattern so that bit is not a real problem.
