Wanted: car mat fixing screw thingies
I have a set of car mats with the hole at the back of them, but I don't have the little screw in locating pin. I've done the obvious thing
and tried e-bay, but not found anything.
Am I searching for the right thing?
Has anyone got some I can buy from them?
Anyone about to send a donor car off to scrap that has a set of the screws in?
Or any alternatives? I suppose I could do the unthinkable and try my local Halfords.
'Do you sell car mat fixing kits?'
'err, yu wot mista? New sterio innit ye. Subwoofers 50 watt, n get ya some wel wikid neons aye'rett'
'shudder' I remember when Halfords used to be good.

I need a pair for the wife's mgf, Shes had the car a year now and the mats are still in the boot.
Great idea asking on here! So if anybody's got some second dibs to me after balidey Please

Cant you make some hooks and weld them in?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Nope, its the Mrs' new car so I'm not welding on it, all they are is a plastic self tapper, large washer base, and a peg for its head.
I've tried looking on a couple of my works suppliers websites, i've looked at car mat suppliers (not yet e-mailed them though).
These things must be made in their thousands, but where are they? I too have been looking for a while, but nothings come up yet.
