You never know, someone might be breaking a rusty Midget having done a K series conversion on it.

If you don't ask........

Well i had a 1968 Tartan Red Midget for about 5 years as a daily driver, and except for a few K-series conversions, never heard of anything other than the standard twin 1 1/4" / 1 1/2" twin SU carbs being used except a full race version running twin 40 Webers - that thing was an animal with 60 in under 4s!!!

Hi i have currently got a MK2 austin healy sprite. with a 250 hp vauxhaul engine in the workshop at the moment. It has been built around westfield components such as front +rear suspension and uprights ect.

Its a bit of a Carlos Fandango setup with wide arches and is almost as wide on the track as the wheelbase. Thats why it's in at the mo to try and make it go round corners.

Cheers Matt
