WTD MG midget/morris diff/axle

Not really the normal locobuilders type thing...But worth a try

Does anyone happen to have an MG midget/morris type diff unit with either a 3.7 or 3.5 ratio?

Really want to be able to go faster than 60mph in my track day car

You can fit a Ford diff to the Morris casing you know.
Best to start asking the questions where clubmans racers hang around.
(By clubmans, I mean Mallocks and the like).

They'll know what to do.

Mate of mine has a modsports(ish) Healey Sprite with a ford diff in the axle.
(And a Toyota twin cam too it has to be said).

The BMC axle is relatively easy to acquire, however the 3.5 is rocking horse doo-doo and will sell for about £350, most of the 3.7 diffs were snapped up by 750 Formula drivers so have also risen considerably in price. You'd be best off sticking with the Ford set-up.

The car already has a BMC axle in it, so sadly I cant easily switch to the ford setup...

That's exactly the point though.
BMC axle with ford diff. It's been done since the 60s.
