04-06 5VY R1 Head, Barrel & Pistons

After yet another engine failure I am yet again in need of a Cylinder Head, Barrel and Pistons from a 04-06 5VY R1 engine.

Anyone got any of these bits?

Cheers

Keith

I think I've been unlucky.

First time we ran with a vacuum pipe blocked which we think made it run lean. Which detonated a hole in the cylinder block. Long story behind running it blocked.

Bought an engine which had a damaged bottom end but good top end and put the top end from that on my motor.
Got the fueling checked and all was ok, then on the second lap of qualifying it dropped an inlet valve. I wasn't even up to speed at that point as I was scrubbing in some new tyres and it was damp.

From what I can tell it is two unrealted failures, one was my fault and the other just bad luck.

Old Chinese proverb.

"Man with working pinto will finish race better than man with broken BEC"
