Wanted cut and welded sump 1.8 CVH for Roadster
I have spent a few hours over two evenings cutting down the sump, trying to remove the rust and paintwork and after 3 attempts to try and stop leaks I
give up.
It will serve to as a guide so I can mount the engine in the chassis over the next few weeks, but the prospect of leaking oil all over the place is
just to much.
When the welder hit a rust spot it just blasted through the metal and I found my self chasing a hole.
Can anyone recommend someone who can supply a cut and welded sump.
Cheers
Adrian
