Throttle bodies

Does anyone know what type of throttle bodies are the ones on the blue topped zetec on this page. I know the picture is small, but am not sure whether these are Keihins?

http://www.uscaterham.com/zetec.html

Am looking to fit throttle bodies to my zetec but am so confused whether to go for bike cars or others?

The help would be much appreciated.

Cheer James

Hi I fitted GSXR 600 bike throttle bodies to mine. they do the job well and can be upgraded if and when I need to, with GSXR 750 bodies or just the injectors.

^^^^ those in the picture are not bike tbs.

what you want to fit depends on your wallet.

locost route is bike TB off ebay.

loads has been posted but generally ease of fitting are those with separate bodies which, amongst others are the gsxr.

Throttle Bodies

I am restricted to space within my chassis. What is better to fit blackbird carbs or gzxr.

Some told me that the length of the port between the trumpet and head matters for performance. I am not that clued up on engines, does this matter?

Regards

Hi

Don't think you mentioned wot engine you are fitting ,if you are building a locost and fitting a pinto then r1 carbs and Boggs manifold ,you would be OK for space ,

Ask the guys again about engine and carb combinations
