I'm going, but can't get there till after lunch - probably about 3

i'm going - only about 30/40mins for me, so should be there by about 11am
no idea about "best time to go" but expect big queues in the octagon restaurant from about 12:30pm
i went a couple of years ago (or could have been last year - i can't remember), and spent quite a few hours wandering round with my neighbour speaking to various kit manufacturers

i'll be there 'bout 11ish too
