keith - 17/5/08 at 09:20 AM

i bet your all wondering how we got on,(al phill stuart taylor/keith larry tiger) well the green team did well both cars finished the race which was an achievment in its self after both cars picked up some extra weght ie gravel mud and grass, it was wet it was very very wet my tiger finished up 2 inches away from the barrier after spinning off at the esses doing a 360 then a 180 and cutting the grass for about 100 yards that was scary, in fact the day was a mixture of scary and exciting after seeing other cars smashed up (cobra, sylva, westy, and a few others)but it was a fantastic day many thanks to our team manager steve and his dad keith, and our new team mates al and phill, pictures coming soon

Hi Keith/Larry,

Thanks for being such awesome team mates! It was a superb day (despite the weather). The day was a total success (Reg Flags allowing) and I'm sure I can speak for my all concerned from our team that it was a pleasure to meet you both - hope to meet up again soon. Dont forget to let me know about the biking weekend. Roll on 2009!

Steve

Yeah - well done chaps - you did really well to finish and with both cars intact, the weather really suited BEC's as they are so light.....

Great Day out, especially late afternoon when the track had dried out a bit, Thanks to everyone that took part, we should get together more often.
Commiserations to anyone that was unlucky enough to hit something in the morning, could have happened to any of us really with all the standing water etc.
The car never missed a beat all day, apart from a couple of bits of bodywork coming loose, soon fixed with gaffer tape
Can't wait to see some photos/video of the day.
Some awesome cars there too, i think my favourite was the chrome orange europa, which looked stunning and went like stink, even in the wet.

Al.
