just 1 Q: how much room do you get
with floor mounted pedals than sierra
pedals in a avon. i do not have the car now but i was just woundering if there
was much in it .thanks

I'm happy with it, it's easier to adjust the pedals to your own length.
I don't think there'd a great difference in space but i find them more comfortable.

I'm 6' 6", with size 12 feet, and I found the avon with the floor mounted pedals to have plenty of room.

I certainly hope there is i plenty of room as i've just purchased a set of OBP floor-mounted pedals for my build!

I have sierra pedal, they are just ok (I modyfied the pedal). My advice is go for floor pedal and not for sierra pedal.

I'm 6'3" and have the Sierra pedals... they are usuable - just! My knees are pressed up hard against the steering wheel and it is a real chore to move my foot onto the clutch pedal - so much that around town i have to keep my foot lightly on the pedal all the time!

I am considering ripping them out over the winter and fitting floor mounted ones to give me more room.

Floor mounted pedals give you guite a bit more room. Im 6 foot and tried the avon at tiger which had the sierra pedals and didnt fit.

I fitted floor pedals and actually managed to gain an exta 25mm by fittin them over the cross member at the front of the tunnel. The pedal base plate actally had a cutout in it to do this. I had to trim it at the sides to fit though. Also I reduced the length of the lever/bolt on the master cylinders which gained more leg room...

With floor monted ones you also reduce the need for brake valve if there is a ballance bar.

The other benfot of floor mounted pedals is that you can box in the footwell from the engine bay and have space in above the drivers footwell to mount bits.
