smitht82 - 26/7/13 at 12:33 PM

I've recently just installed the DIY quickshifter (thanks to Maplins) and wanted to know what Kill Times people are runningbefore i activate the software and take it for a run?

Dynojet quickshifters use a default kill time of 65ms.

I'm running a Dynojet QS on mine and it's set at 58ms. I tried 55ms but it wasn't keen on it. Let me know how your homemade job works - will be interested to see how it goes. A vid would be great, too.

Cheers,

Sean

I'm still thinking of doing this maplin install too, a video showing it working would be great :-)

Presumably these home made systems utilise a microswitch to kill the spark somewhere in line in the gear linkage?

Any of the guys running these got pics of the install? Just curious...

Cheers,

Carse

Cool - thanks for this. Most people seem to range before 65 - 85ms
