Alcantara

Anyone used Alcantara? Was thinking of retriming my interior over the winter, making some infill panels covered in Alcantara. Just wondering if it marks easy or scuffs, also if it gets wet does it mark?

Anyone know a good supplier, Woolies has it but was looking for colour choice.

Should be very blin bling by the time I've finished.

I've heard it's very nice there at this time of year but with the global warming and all that you can never be quite certain these days.

Actually it sounds a good choice of material for any purpose, they even make clothes from it. It's easy maintenance according to the blurb as well but the choice of colour should be the deciding factor in an open car. If you get something too light it's going to get dirty or stained.

isnt it absorbent?

do you want to cover an open top car internals with something that will absorb and retain rain?

I work for a company that handles alcantara on the odd occasion, it's man-made, very uniform in its finish and easy to work. It is also bl**dy expensive, about £25/metre, and there is little or no bulk discount. If you need any I can supply what colours Aston-Martin use in the Vanquish

Tell me more, how much per metre and what width, looking for blue or black.
