Honda Fireblade engine
norm007 - 7/6/11 at 01:05 PM

A mate of mine has a Fireblade that he lunched when he found a dead cow in his path 1 x night last year. (ouch!!!!!!!!!!!)
Its a 929cc 2001 on a Y reg with approx 40,000 miles on clock.
Just about the only thing to survive the crash, apart from Shaun was the engine.
I think there is still oil in it(I recovered it for him at the time and dont recall much oil etc in back of van)
All electrics seem in tact and he has 2x keys for it(Honda imobiliser)
The bike is in Pontefract.
Also the bike ran like dream before the crash(didnt use oil and never let him down)

What do you thinks its worth???????????

Cheers,

Norm

Hi there. We cheerfully paid £700 for a totally complete 929 engine. It came with the all important HISS ECU, ignition barrel sensor and keys, airbox, fuel pump, titanium exhaust manifold ( standard ) etc. etc...

So I would value it at £700.
But it is ultimately "worth" whatever someone will give you for it.
