Hi I am looking for a bell housing to fit my rover V8 and R380 gearbox for my haynes roadster. Just wondered if anyone had one?

From my research it can be from the LT77 or the R380 and its the same fit.

Thanks.

All things are not equal, I,m sure r380 & LT77 are not the same but happy to be corrected as I have never seen two side by side however what I can tell you is you get different lengths so a common range rover bell housing is much longer than a SD1 bell housing.

The shortest housing we found when racing land rovers was a Sherpa diesel housing for a 2.5 Diesel engine and use a V8 conversion plate, you end up using a smaller clutch so lighter but less able to handle lots of power.

This Rover V8 bell housing route has been discussed and the best posts on here on the subject are by a fella called wilkingj. The clutch master cylinder to slave cylinder pipe is a bugger. Bought mine from a guy on here called Russbost bespoke made.
