Was in B&Q today and noticed they were selling 2.5KVa 4 stroke petrol generators at £139.
These had 230V and 110V outlets.
Ideal for powering those tools in your remote (off the mains) shed and garages?

2.5KVa is about 2KW

so a 700 or 800w drill or angry grinder should be ok I think

oddly enough i was in pee&poo today fiddling with this genny! Was tempted to get one.

Theres also a 15% percent off voucher doing the rounds by e-mail as well at the minute..

They are £129 in my local 'big' B&Q. Not sure if that's in all stores - I know they do have huge variations in different stores.
