I'm asking about engine numbers, ancillaries and the like.

Does anyone have
- UN1 to Duratec Adapter plate
- UN1 Gearbox / bellhousing to make an adapter plate
- any other ideas to get around 300hp+?
Has anyone mated these two before? I see on the lotus forums that there is a guy that has done it, but would prefer to speak to someone in person.
Cheers,
Rich.

cool beans, cant wait to see how it comes out, i may end up mounting mine on the exhaust side too but waiting for end of september before i start
thinking of dropping it in the car to look at mountings.
Space is a real issue though ehh .
All the best
still at a very good price with a day left
It doesn't come with any ancillaries in fact what you see is what you get.
Best factor in a significant budget to get it running never mind up to 300+ BHP!
I'm watching it but I don't think its a shinning example and I certainly don't think its cheap even at the numbers its currently at.

Neil,
There are no anciliaries other than the coil pack that you can use from the duratec anyway. everything else is make it yourself or buy. Going rate is currently between 250 and 400 for a bare engine.
David
so it finally went for £257

Really!? So starter motor, alternator, ECU, Injection system, all have to be sourced / made on the fly?! I'm flabbergasted! In fact never has my gast been so flabbered!
SO what is the budget cost (assumming you put a standard engine in) for Duratec'ing a Seven?
.....Neil
Hi
Although one of the very first jobs you would want to be doing is strip the engine down and have the front pulleys keyed on to the crankshaft before
they slip and bugger the whole engine.
Cheers Matt
