Morgan that is being silly I have done a fair bit of work on them over the years and would touch one with a barge pole --- the chassis design is totally inadequate even by 1930s standards.

After they have been on the road a few years and the chassis loosens up they can be truly frightening to drive as the chassis can go into an undamped harmonic vibration of truly terrifying proportions.

My dad had a few of those (not the pre war Bentley!!!), the first car he ever bought new was a bright blue Hillman Hunter, a truely awful car, looked like I'd painted it (I was about 10). The build quality was, er ...erm....it didn't have one, shut lines were so bad you didn't have to open the door to get in. Awful, awful car.

I had the pleasure of working at Morgan for a while...... and I agree, they are not wonderful cars by any means... but he wants one... so thats that!

What is even more disturbing is the fact that I might be forced to sell the TVR in the spring.... Now that is going to make me shed man tears!

my first car was a 1979 mk 1 fiesta with 24k on the clock that cost me £0

that was only 10 years ago, and the car's still on the road - I wish it was still mine
