I'm no expert on the redtop but given the money spent I would have thought a flywheel 185hp was a little light! are those cams especially mild? or does it need some extra head work to get closer to the magic 200

figures quoted are on the standard exhaust manifold which is a detuning item

ETA- vague morning post here!

to add more detail - they used the exhaust to detune the engine in standard guise in the vauxhall tintops, therefore I'm surprised he's bothered quoting the figures at all. Swapping the manifold for the SBD one he mentions is good for another 20bhp+ which would tip the engine of the 200hp mark (proper dyno and everything )

maybe it was measured on a realistic dyno instead of a 'down hill dyno'.
