Makes it a nightmare for changing lanes though.

I had one given to me for Christmas - haven't tried it out yet!

fishywick - 31/1/10 at 05:00 PM

Yes, I have one. good quality and a helpful seller from what I remember.
Useful for when the car is stationary. One of the photos is over a car on a trailer, I tried this once but gave up due to the 'parachute' effect. It may be possible with mucho attention to tie downs etc but required more effort than I was prepared to put in.

Does seem a tad expensive to me though.

Yea I got one as well
Tad expensive,
and a tad crap in my opinion.

At that price, you might as well buy a full cover.

Dangle_kt - 31/1/10 at 08:06 PM

Bet it packages up a lot smaller than a full cover, so could be a good way of covering he cockpit up when out and about?

Those of you that have one of these, do they have any joins in them or are they made from one piece of fabric?

Valtra - 31/1/10 at 08:57 PM

I have one of these seems decent quality does the job when parked . quick to put on and rolls up small to squash behind your seat . Yes it is one piece of material with elastic all round . not cheap but remember the guy is paying 10% to ebay and 3% to paypal (ebay) so drop him a line he may give a discount for a straight sale paid by cheque/postal order

fishywick - 31/1/10 at 08:58 PM

One piece, elasticated with tabs for bungees.
They fold up to about 8" x 6" X 3".
It is useful if the car is standing for a short while, track days etc. certainly doesn't replace a full cover if that's what you need.

I had one - use it towing, it completely disintegrated....wouldn't recommend....I wasn't happy

agreed not really a sensible option to use on the move even though they do claim it's feasable

David Jenkins - 31/1/10 at 10:05 PM

Mine's only intended to be an emergency cover if caught out in the rain - as such it folds up into a neat little bag that's easy to stow away.

BTW: I didn't buy (it was a present) but I believe that it was cheaper when bought direct - he advertises in the kit car mags.
