Cheap Crossflow Bits
MakeEverything - 18/2/10 at 11:47 PM

Im clearing out the workshop, and need to get shot of the old crossflow i bought for the Dutton.
Its a +.040" block, with head, crank, pistons, valves and pretty much everything to make a reasonable engine.

Im after £30 for all of the crossflow bits. I thik its even got an old alternator and starter as well, but will need to confirm.

Anyone Interested?

Ive also got an alloy manifold for a crossflow to take twin 40's. For sale at £65 ono - Cost me £100 and never used.

Also, ive got an aluminium Cologne - T9 bellhousing for the 2.8 / 2.9 Cologne V6 or Capri. Cost me £85, Selling for £50 ono cleaned and painted.

Is the carb side of the inlet manifold parallel to the head side, or do the carbs side at an angle?

I could use a starter motor if it's the right sort and you're prepared to post

Yes the faces are parralel, so the Carbs will sit horizontally - as long s the engine is straight.

If you were nearer I'd have the engine off you in a second - if it's a 1600? (not that it matters as you're so far away )
