Just make sure the bearing holder near the disk is made from metal and not "engineering plastic". Some cheap grinders have plastic bearing holders. End result of some enthusiastic grinding = melted holder, wobbly disk and a trip to get a new grinder....

Spend a bit more & get a real one:

I've just ordered one to replace the identical model which has only just expired after 3 years hard use (mixed metal/concrete blocks). I like it as it's light enough to use under a vehicle or one-handed with a flap wheel.

I buy the cheapest argos ones with a 3 year warrenty rarely had one die in that timeframe though.....
If they do its usually because I chop a chassis teh wrong way, pinches the disc, stops and the smoke escapes

I've got two grinders in the garage (one cutting, one grinding) and one more grinder at home (you never know when it might be handy). Cheap power tools are a waste of time though, I bought a cheap hot air gun for stripping some woodwork at home, got half way through a door and it died. Okay so it cost a tenner but £20 a door???? I did look at turning it into a demister for the car (obviously run @ 12v not 240v) but the little fan wasn't really up to the job....
