Possible cheap duratec?
RichardK - 2/4/10 at 05:12 PM

Spoke to this guy today and he's not sure if its a duratec or not but said it was a Ford demo car so a main dealer maybe able to tell with the reg number which is on a photo. He maybe able to tell you via text to his mobile if you tell him what to look for. I'd avoid asking an ebay question as this gets shown on the advert sometimes.

He told me he'd take £650 for it and I reckon you could sell the interior and wheels for a few quid so the engine package wouldn't be too bad.

Linky Dinky Do Da

Too far for me but was sooooooooo tempted.

Cheers

Rich

Same gearbox problem I had with mine when I had one. Late home from work one night, stopped at the chippy, then to find it wouldnt go forward. I had to reverse it home before my chips went cold.

Would you not need to change the output shaft to use it with a manual box?

Should be just the flywheel and clutch that would be done anyway
