I think this guy looked at a range rover and thought 'Hmmm, Tyrrell P34'

1994 LAND ROVER RANGEROVER 6 WHEEL on eBay (end time 10-Nov-10 20:15:56 GMT)

Is that what happens when you want a trailer but can't reverse with one?? And then you fill the 'trailer' with an LPG tank...

Confused but excited. - 5/11/10 at 02:27 PM

That's just atacked on trailer.
ICI in Runcorn used to have a custom built six wheeler, that had all wheel drive, as an emergency response vehicle. It looked well cool.

r1_pete - 5/11/10 at 02:40 PM

Thats just rediculous, with the distance between the two back axles, imagine the tyre scuffing on cornering! and the reduced traction on the driven rear wheels......

Guinness - 5/11/10 at 03:03 PM

I quite like it

matt_gsxr - 5/11/10 at 04:26 PM

It might be functional, but it isn't exactly elegant.

coyoteboy - 5/11/10 at 04:33 PM

Oh dear god, that's horrific.

marcjagman - 5/11/10 at 05:39 PM

What was he thinking of?

bartonp - 5/11/10 at 06:11 PM

What happens going over a speed hump?!?

plentywahalla - 5/11/10 at 06:33 PM

We had one like it in the eighties. It was built by Carmichael and was 6x4 so the third axle was 'dead'. The body shell was extended with four doors, many years before the four door Rangey was introduced.

It drove like a pig! The only fun was getting through the Dartford tunnel and only paying for a car. The attendant didn't see the third axle until it was too late.

Its hideous

The only thing I can think to say is "Why?"

cheers

Just what i always wanted, and its got a blue bonnet !!

I have got to nip away, to check with the DVLA, and make sure its not registered as a Dutton

God that would be an awsome shame ..............................................

This reply box is so big it mades my post feel inadequate

Its a good idea IMHO, but poorly executed. Basically a kingsize crewcab pickup. To be a sucess, it needed 6wd, back axles closer together (or 4 wheel steer) and a finish that looks like it was made by the factory. Sadly, its fail on all 3 points.

"Sadly, its fail on all 3 points. "

bollox, it must be a dutton

That's hilarious. Looks like a Range Rover with a matching trailer has hit the brake a bit too hard

LBMEFM - 5/11/10 at 10:02 PM

As above, I agree, looks that he braked to hard when towing a trailer.
