Cars are not the only things that use flush fuel caps and a funnel/neck arrangement. So do aeroplanes...
And then it occurred... so do boats!!!!! There are hundreds of these around. Sensible prices too. Just type "deck filler" into google &
you'll see what I mean. Diameters vary, but 2" is fairly common. There are also key locking versions, 45 degree versions & so on. There
must be some that satisfy IVA. C'mon, folks get on the internet with me & let's find them.
Dont mention the word yacht in the hunt as that word bumps the price up another third
This looks very familiar!

Thought so. Surely the same as this from Europa...

Not sure, something to do with Unleaded Restrictor, so whatever the regs are for that. SVA guy recon most engines/cars needed it.
Luckily mine didnt at the time.
you only need a restrictor on post 95 engine. passed iva fine using standard tank cap with tether on
Hi, folks…
OK – done quite a bit of googling on this topic, but now need some info/feedback from you to go further…
Does it matter whether the material is ABS, chrome, s/s or brass?
Would something that’s OK for diesel also be OK for petrol provided it’s vented?
How important to you is the ability to lock the cap? If it’s only got a chain, could you live with that?
Would 38mm diameter rather than 50mm be OK? (& are there restrictors about for this size?)
Some outfits sell the cap & filler separately. Will any cap fit any filler provided it’s the correct diameter?
Btw… anybody want to buy a 20ft 2+2 weekend cabin cruiser? 4 years old with 15hp electric start Honda outboard. Pump toilet, spirit stove, canopy,
soft furnishings, electrics etc. £8500, ashore in Norfolk. U2U me if interested!

Sorry to pee on your chips but if you do a search on here its what you find a lot of us have used, welcome to the world of tight fistedness.
Cheers,
Bob
No, it's OK.
Strange, though... I've done any number of searches, but try as I may, I can't find any references to a deck filler. Which forum are they
in? Can you give me a particular thread so I can have a look? As it is, it's taken me ages to find a new IVA-compliant cap & filler for just
over £20. Wish I'd known earlier! What a bummer!
