You had one ......your mammy used it to push you to the shops when you were a nipper... The top heavy Silver Cross handles better than that

haha not seen one of them for years, I had one when I was younger, put a twsit and go moped engine in it

they probably gone or sold by now, but where I used to live a local guy had 2 of these, brand spanking new, never even opened up.

he is one of them guys that just buys things or builds things and stores it away.

back in '84 he built an amazing GT40 replica, everything brand spanking new, top of the line motor from the states etc, that car did maybe 10 miles before he put it in his garage, covered it with a sheet, last time I saw it, there was a go kart sat on top of it!

I think his collection is his pension fund,

I used to work with a lad who had quite a few of them. He used to buy them, do them up and sell them on. There is/was quite a good and lucrative market for both parts and whole machines. Takes all sorts eh, fancy a group of fully grown men, obsessing over small, impractical vehicles eh?

they were racing them around warehouses in London, back in the late 90's went to a couple of events to watch them LOL

with modern batteries and technology, they could be a right good laugh, hmm wonder if I can find a cheap one nearby and have a play LOL
