Formula 1 Uprights anybody?

I'd say they'd be next to no use... they'll have been lightened to the point that they'll have a very short 'lifespan' and may therefore explode after going through a couple of pot-holes!

Oh well each to their own. I do not have a toy to use on the road because I don't see the point in having a fast car and sitting in a traffic jam. My car is track only. I have uprights from a Lola Champ car and very nice they are too. They are not as robust as a Cortina upright but a darn sight better made than many mig welded horrors often displayed on this site (which in fairness appear to work). I will crack test them from time to time. For a track car I see no problem with those uprights. Far from it they are exquisite. I would not put them on a tractor.
