Erm - I think I'd rather spend my money on something more modern...

I'd guess its only of that value to someone whose race class restricts engine type....

For a road car, there are many better, lighter, cheaper options.

You can get better than the BHP figures on the graph from a bog standard Zetec fitted with a decent manifold and some throttle bodies, why bother with old technology? Cheers Ray

With a bit of effort you can probably get an almost-new Duratec and install it for £2.5K.

I'm a crossflow fan, but I'm also a realist - even a bog-standard Duratec will easily beat a crossflow, unless you tune it to something mental.

itll be the ax bit that has bumped the price i reckon, ax crossflow blocks are like hens teeth

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........................AX block...............can be bored to 1840 !

So I wonder why it's only 1660 and making peak power at just 5500 ? ! ?

178 BHP is nice for a crossflow , but with a bit more work (and revs......) it could be made to produce a lot more
