Nothing wrong with that, there have been a few different types of utility/off road kit car, Dutton, NCF, etc.
It may not be your thing but for the off road 4x4 crews it a great way of not paying for the overpriced under powered Land Rover.

Why is it a ringer, it says un registered project, looks legit to me, I do seem to remember Ford paid Dutton off for the use of the Sierra name.

andrew.carwithen - 15/5/11 at 09:01 AM

What's dodgy about it?
the Dutton Sierra is a kit car model in its own right - not a referral to the Ford Sierra (in fact, Dutton introduced their escort-based Sierra in 1979 - some three years before Ford decided to use the same name for their new model in 1982)

Humbug - 15/5/11 at 10:37 AM

1. As above, Dutton Sierra is a genuine model

2. Since it is being sold as unregistered project, how could it be a ringer? You are not buying an identity to use on another car

It was more the fact that I've never seen anything like it! Thought it was quite unusual, I was obviously wrong
