Partial to a LR - The price of petrol is spoiling our fun.


Lets be right, most of us here would have a V8 Landy if petrol was a £1 a gallon. My brother lives in Mexico and complains his Jeep thing only does 13mpg, but petrol is about $3 a gallon.

Hmmm Looks like its been polished up for sale.
Especially the rear X-Member. Look in the holes its brown rust in there.
Its a J reg, so I recon I would want to give the whole chassis a thorough inspection first.

A 200Tdi engine which is my preferred mill. Should do about 28 -30Mpg at best.
Other than that, it looks fairly good.

With a Landy, you pay for what you see and the condition rather than the age of the vehicle. At least everything is replaceable on a Landy.
