Not all that Locost compared to mild steel welded stuff but very good value if you are building something a bit special - I have just bought 7 lengths of this and there is more in 1" and 1.25" sizes - in sensible wall thicknesses. This stuff welds well as it is thin and will not need stress relieving unless you are fussy or building an aeroplane. It is fantastically strong compared to mild steel - it is a bit reluctant to bend!

I have just spoken to the seller and he tells me that his dad used to build racing motorbikes he says he has several engines. He also tried to sell me a big tig welder (3 phase) - seems a good bloke. He also has a lathe.

Last time I posted about tube on here I forgot to buy some first and by the time I got back it had gone.....this time I got in there quick!
