Found sets of these for sale, could be a cheap trackday option if your running 15" wheels, knowing how difficult 15" slicks and R888's
are to get hold of, and expensive they are
I think they could even be road legal, not too sure on that, you would have to check.

I had a pair of these on my Nova, seemed quite good, but took a while to get heat in to them and wore alot on the edges.
at that price a definite bargain!
One word of caution.
You might want to check the expiration date as I think (but I may be mistaken) that Colway went under in 2007.

I think they were considered Road Legal Paul, as they were often used for Tarmac sections of Rallying, and then used for the road to get to the next stage.
I actually watched a Copper in Winsford in Cheshire (used to have to come right through the town!) get very embarrassed thinking he'd pulled over a boy racer...
Anyway, they are road legal, but I would make sure that every single bit on the rest of your car is perfect if you're gonna use them on the road![]()
When we were knocking about at 17 yo's, we used to go to a rallying place in Macclesfield for tyres and I had a mk3 Escort XR3 with them on - amazing car! Much better than the XR3i I had, mind you, I've always said that one of my favourite Ford's (apart from Saff & Esc Cos'd etc) is the mk1 and mk2 XR2...............
Sorry for the tangents!!!
, should think they would be ideal for airfield
trackdays for that money, when you don't want to destroy your road tyres.
Hi i have a number of sets of wheels for the f27 and have a set of these on 1 they are quicker up hartside than the set of r888s apart from race tyres some of the best i have had
