Apologies for the mostly off topic post but any proceeds will be honourably spent on my Fury

hobbsy. ive had an evo 8 and although not a 340 it was awesome. do you think if on track you could lap the fury as fast as i dont seem to even close in mine. my old evo seemed more grippy and faster in a straight line than my fury is!

Very tidy looking motor! If only my commute was 5 miles and not 50!

It would depend on the track, off the line being 4WD it's obviously got way more grip and once you know how to launch it takes off like nothing else.

On a "power" circuit then yes the Evo. On a wet day the Evo would be easier to live with clearly. On a tight circuit in the dry then a Fury would be quicker. A lot depends on the driver and tyes I guess.

If I had to choose the consumables bill... Fury would win every time. I didn't track day the Evo but I know it would munch stuff a lot quicker than a sevenesque car.
