TR6 Bargain....Sadly not for me..

Chap I know has just bought a 1974 TR6, absolute minter. Californian import and converted to RHD.
Never had or needed any welding or paint. Engine developed a top end rattle, sounds like a really bad tappet
and the owner lost interest in it so it got ignored for two years.
Andy bought it for £6000

Many years ago I was looking for my first car and was after a mini
Went to see a friend in the trade and there was a mint TR6 tucked away in the corner of his unit with a cover over it.
My budget at the time was £500 and he wanted £1200 for the TR

If I knew what I knew now Id have found the money and stored it, It would have been a wise investment....

I would settle for the yard full of minis and cortina's I had oh and the 12 sierras

1275 gt, traveller, turbo with buckets and wide wheels. And even the standard 1000 with an mot would be worth £3k.
