Emerald ECU on Ebay. Suspect it will end up silly money though.

Bob, there is another one on there which Ned as kindly linked to, is for ignition and fuel. The one you mention is for ignition only, I mailed the
seller to check, not a problem if running carbs only. Are you going for carbs or injection?

I'm unsure at the moment on fuel delivery,i have a chance of some weber 40's that will be very very cheap if i want them althopugh they do
need a good refurb.
I'm just making plans for next year at the moment, what ever i do it will be in the locost fashion. If i make it the cheapest zetec instal ever
i'll be happy,i'm not proud me
You could always just buy mine. Ignition-only, Dizzy triggered.
£250 for ECU only, £300 including suitable xflow dizzy
Bob,
If you're after a cheap cheap install, have you seen the Zetec Anglia with DGV carb and modified CVH dizzy run off the auxiliary belt?
Dizzy was fitted where the PAS pump normally goes and spun using a drive wheel the same size as the crank one.
Definitely ingenious.

cheers steve
That anglia was interesting,i've found some very cheap 40's in need of a little tlc so the inlet manifold might well be my biggest expense
along with the exhaust and collector.
I've said it a million times but it falls on deaf ears! (except Bob who I think has paid attention this time!) Get an ESC unit off an
carb'd Escort mk5. Ten a penny in the scrapyard and only 3 wires to hook up. It's not mappable, but if you want cheap it's certainly
that!
